Seawall Construction is scheduled for November
2018 – May 2019
WEEK 43 2018– WEEK 19 2019
The Jupiter Reef Club will be beginning a seawall
replacement project on November 5th, 2018. The construction is expected to
last four months. All our amenities will remain open. Our upper
patio deck, north side, and south side of the property will be closed
off while the new seawall is being constructed. The east side of our
seawall will be under construction. There may be some points of the
construction at which guests may find the noise undesirable. The pool,
spa, beach, barbeque grills, & gazebo will all remain available for
your enjoyment. We will make every effort to complete this construction project
as quickly, efficiently, & quietly as possible.
Parking will be impacted. The south parking lot
will be closed, and parking permits will not be issued to daily visitors.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. The association looks
forward to the completion of the seawall replacement project to enhance the
value of the resort and to preserve the timeshare concept for years to come.

seawall update
In October 2016 the Jupiter Reef Club Board of Directors approved a three-tiered special assessment to fund a long-term seawall coastal armoring solution. The Board of Directors relied upon preliminary engineering cost estimates to determine the appropriate funding. In May 2016, a contract with Cutcher & Associates, Costal Engineers was executed. A permit application with a formal structural design and construction plans in accordance with state and local ordinances was submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in July,2017. March 2018 the Jupiter Reef Club received the Notice to Proceed and Coastal Construction Control Line Permit for construction. Over the past two months the construction administration phase of the seawall project has been well under way. Three bids were obtained from pre-qualified contractors. The Board of Directors unanimously voted to award the contract to Walker Contracting Group. The anticipated construction schedule begins on November 1st, 2018. We are on target to construct the new seawall within the 2018-2019 fiscal year. Thank you for being a valued Jupiter Reef Club owner and making this integral project possible.
