Greetings Jupiter Reef Club Owners,
Thankfully, Hurricane Dorian remained just far enough off the coast of South Florida. The Jupiter Reef Club fared tremendously well despite the National Hurricane Center’s ominous prediction of life-threatening devastation from Dorian. Every effort was made to secure the property to the greatest extent. We are currently in the process of cleaning up debris and returning the property back to beautiful condition. The Jupiter Reef Club is open and welcoming guest of week number 35.
While undergoing major reconstruction, the Seawall was negatively impacted by extreme wave activity. Rebar along the East wall was displaced by the waves generated from the major hurricane. The displaced rebar will be required to be restored to the engineer’s specified design. All portions of the seawall will be inspected by the construction professionals in the coming days. The estimated date of completion is expected to be postponed due to the weather delays and damage.
We are grateful the storm damage to the Jupiter Reef Club has been minimal and are now resuming normal operations. Roof replacement construction and seawall construction are scheduled to continue. The Board of Directors, Staff and I will work to achieve rapid recovery to completely restore this remarkable piece of paradise for all owners and guests to continue to enjoy.
